Marshall Wharf Brewery celebrates its 5th Year of Beer production this coming weekend (Oct 13th) with their annual bash being held at the Brewery and Three Tides Waterfront Bar in Belfast, Maine. Two giant tents will cover the outdoor part of the festivities to keep everyone dry and warm.
The 4th YoB event drew a crowd of around 500 last year and Marshall Wharf owner, David Carlson, is expecting upwards of 800 to attend this years event with party goers traveling from throughout New England and one die-hard Marshall Wharf fan coming from Denmark.
Big news is, of course, the first chance to sample some of the Bowmore Scotch Whisky cask aged beers and the introduction the new 16oz cans, which are already stimulating interest reminiscent of an iPhone release….
If you want to sample the new cask aged beers get in early as they will be in very limited supply. It might also be worth grabbing your cans as well as they are destined to sell very fast.
Musical entertainment will once again be provided by Marshall Wharf regulars Toughcats, playing at the event on the heels of the release of their new album “Woodenball”. Check out the new Toughcats video featuring Big Big Hole, one of the great tracks from the album.
